On May 3, students at Kimmons Junior High School participated in the nation-wide “Let’s Move” Flash Workout.
Sixth-grade students who serve as Safety Patrol Members were honored for their outstanding service with a cook-out and appreciation ceremony.

Southside and Northside High School choral musicians earned six of the eight Best in Class awards presented at the 2011 Arkansas Choral Festival.

Twins Wiles and Walker Wiggins are already making a name for themselves in the world of science. The two Ramsey Junior High freshmen were recently named Best of State at the Arkansas State Science Fair for their entry, “Crude Awakening: The Study of Oil Absorption Efficiency of Various Materials.”
The Fort Smith PTA Council has been named the winner of the 2011 Arkansas Outstanding PTA Council Award.
