Northside High School will host the third annual Northside Chase for Charity on April 27, 2013 at Chaffee Crossing in Fort Smith.
The Grizzly Tracks to Success parent meeting for the Class of 2016 scheduled for February 21 has been postponed due to winter weather. 
Euper Lane Elementary School held its first Family Technology Night for parents and students on February 12, 2013.
Grizzly Gear has earned gold.
Police were called to Ramsey Junior High School on Thursday morning, after reports of an alleged shooting at the school. Rumors circulated via social media. As a precaution, school officials placed the school on lockdown. School administrators and police investigated the threat, searching the building and talking with students about the rumors. Officials found nothing to substantiate a credible threat. No incident occurred at Ramsey. The lockdown lasted approximately 40 minutes and has since been lifted.

School Board meetings are held on the fourth Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Service Center Auditorium, located in Building B of the Service Center Complex, 3205 Jenny Lind Road. The meetings are open to the public.
