The Southside Rebel Band Majorettes won first place in the Arkansas State Baton Twirling Competition on January 26. 
The Southside Science Bowl team took home the state championship title on January 26 at the Arkansas State Tournament. 
Sutton Elementary School is making a difference in the community, one organization at a time. In learning the importance of servant leadership, the students have come together to raise funds to benefit area non-profits. 
In an effort to reward good behavior and encourage positive decision making, Darby Junior High School has launched a new program, “Darby Dollars and McKinney Money.”

More than 200 students and teachers highlighted their technology skills at the fourth annual Fort Smith Public Schools Learning Showcase on January 28.
