The Southside High School Quiz Bowl team has done it again, winning this year's Arkansas 7A State Quiz Bowl Tournament.

The Northside and Southside High School’s SkillsUSA teams recently competed in the SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills State Championships in Hot Springs, AR. Nine FSPS students placed in their respective categories.

Four students from Southside High School recently won first place in the Arkansas Press Women (APW) High School Contest.

The Arkansas Scholastic Press Association (ASPA) recognized the following Chaffin Junior High and Southside High School students for their exemplary contributions to their school’s publications during the 2014 ASPA Spring Convention.

Arkansas A+ (AR A+) Schools has selected Howard Elementary School amongst nine other schools to join the AR A+ network for the 2014-2015 academic year.

School Board meetings are held on the fourth Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Service Center Auditorium, located in Building B of the Service Center Complex, 3205 Jenny Lind Road. The meetings are open to the public.
