Ken Fletcher’s advanced carpentry students at Northside High School learned some important ones this week.
The group of students spent Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 25 and 26, building a bus stop shelter near the entrance of the Donald W. Reynolds Crisis Intervention Center in Fort Smith. But this bus stop shelter isn’t just your typical shelter.
Hannah Mae and Hannah Marie Lluvido, 18-year-old seniors at Northside High School, may look alike, but they are two sides of the coin when it comes to personality.
Southside and Northside high school students travelled to Dover Oct. 5 for the Region 4 All-Region Choir auditions.
Southside had 109 students earning positions in the All-Region Choirs, the most of any school in the state. Of those 109, 51 qualified to audition for All-State in February.
Northside had 27 students for the All-Region Choirs. Nine of those qualified to audition for All-State.
Tre Sills, an 18-year-old Northside senior, enjoys physical fitness. He’s in the wrestling and golf clubs at school. He stays fit.
So an internship at World Class Fitness just made sense.
Seventeen-year-old Hali Dingman, a senior at Northside High School, interns at KISR 93.7.
