Local hospital patients received a bit of cheer from Fairview students and teachers on Christmas morning. 

In the weeks before the winter break the students at Trusty Elementary School collected more than $350 in pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters
It was a night for dancing at Sutton Elementary School. The school hosted its 4th annual “Dancing with Sutton Star Students,” featuring students from Kindergarten through sixth grade.
One is never too old or too young to learn. That is the message behind Euper Lane Elementary School’s Tech 4 Seniors Project designed promote interaction and learning between sixth-grade students and area senior adults.

The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, NBPTS, has recognized seven Fort Smith Public School Teachers as achieving National Board Certification.
