Dixie Belle Reunion

Celebrating more than 40 years of dance, memories, and fun, Southside High School Dixie Belles from the past and present are invited to a special reunion at the Rebel Homecoming game scheduled for Friday, October 17.

Linda Burns is the current Dixie Belle sponsor and says the reunion is something that has been talked about for many years. “Since last year was the 50th anniversary of Southside High School, we decided it finally needed to happen,” said Burns. “Everyone is excited to get together to reminisce about the glory days of being a Dixie Belle.”

A pre-game gathering in Southside’s main gymnasium will begin at 5:00 pm. All Dixie Belles are invited to join in the traditional pre-game run-through tunnel on the football field prior to kickoff.

T-shirts are available for $25 and your graduation year will be printed to the back of the shirt. Please place your order by sending a Facebook message to Linda Crovella Burns or Stacy Forsgren, or you may email your information to LBurns@fortsmithschools.org. Please include your name, t-shirt size, and graduation year in your message. Orders are due by October 8th.
