JROTC Precision Rifle Team State Meet Winners

The Northside JROTC (Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps) Precision Rifle Team participated in two state competitions this past weekend; The Arkansas State Raider Meet and the American Legion Arkansas State Rifle Meet. 

The team won the State Championship as well as other team and individual medals and trophies. See below for the full list of Northside winners.


Raider Meet:

Male Division; 1st Place - Logan Lind and Zech Montgomery (They competed as two-person teams)

Male Division; 3rd Place - Josue Roque and Robert Farrar

Female Division; 2nd Place - Silvia Chavez and Mayra Perez
 

Rifle Meet:

Team Title: Overall Championship - Grizzly Precision Team (Denise Quirarte, Caitlyn Loftis, Allin Ounpraseth

Denise Quirarte; 1st Place Standing, 1st Place Prone, 1st Place Overall for an individual

Caitlyn Loftis; 2nd Place Prone, 3rd Place Kneeling

Kimberly Sandoval; 2nd Place Sporter

Allin Ounpraseth; 2nd Overall Precision

Javier Mendez; 3rd Place Prone Sporter

 

Sgts. Fry and Lowdermilk, as well as the first place winners, will be recognized at the upcoming April 25th Board of Education meeting.

School Board meetings are held on the fourth Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Service Center Auditorium, located in Building B of the Service Center Complex, 3205 Jenny Lind Road. The meetings are open to the public.
