Kimmons Junior High and Sparks
Women’s Center have teamed up to play for a cure. In order to support the fight against breast
cancer, Kimmons will host Greenwood in a Pinkout game at Mayo-Thompson Stadium
on Thursday, October 10, at seven o’clock in the evening. The purpose of the Pinkout is to raise funds,
increase awareness, and promote early detection in order to help save lives. Pinkout t-shirts, sponsored by Sparks Women’s
Center, will commemorate the evening, in honor of those individuals that have
battled or continue to battle this disease. Prior to game day, t-shirts can
be purchased for $12.00. They will be $15.00
the night of the game. All proceeds will
be donated to the Sparks Women’s Center to help provide diagnostic services to
women who cannot afford recommended screenings.
We encourage all of the Kimmons and Greenwood fans to support our
efforts to raise awareness by purchasing a t-shirt and wearing it to the game. Go Pink! Go Raiders!
