The Transition to Success information night will be held on Tuesday, February 25. Parents of FSPS sixth-grade students this year are invited to Chaffin, Darby, Kimmons and Ramsey Junior High Schools and attend a special dinner to learn more about the junior high schools their children will begin in fall 2014.
During the dinner, respective school administration will inform participants about the school's history, procedures and student expectations. As an annual occurrence, the Transition to Success night focuses on keeping the students' parents informed and ensuring their child's academic success as they move to the next level in their academic journey. Prior to their first day of junior high, students will take part in their own "Transition to Success" day where they will get a "practice run" of a typical school day.
