FSPS Students Named to All-State

Ninety-five FSPS students from Northside and Southside were recently named to the Arkansas All-State Band, Jazz Band, Orchestra and Choir. They competed against hundreds of other students statewide at the All-State Tryouts held in mid-February.

Of those students, five earned the "top spot" by securing a first chair placement in their instrument/vocal group. These students include: Nick Blair, 1st Chair Tuba-Band, Southside; Derek Bolin, 1st Chair Trumpet-Jazz Band, Southside; Jesse Boyd, 1st Chair Contra Bass Clarinet-Band, Southside; Jade Espina, 1st Chair Soprano II-Choir, Northside; and Dylan Lopez, 1st Chair Euphonium-Band, Southside.
