Winter Break begins at the end of the school day on Friday, Dec. 17. Classes resume on Monday January 3, 2011.

Ballman Elementary School

Welcome! At Ballman we always enjoy an exciting and learning packed year. Our school building is located at the corner of 2601 South Q Street and Greenwood Avenue. Ballman serves Kindergarten through sixth-grade students. Ballman is North Central accredited and has the achievement as a Blue Ribbon school. 

Ballman strives to provide lessons that are educationally challenging and student friendly. All students are encouraged to do their best as we work to meet our motto:Let’s work together

Ballman has an active P.T.A. and wonderful Partners In Education who support our teaching and learning each day. It is the mission of Ballman Elementary to provide an educational program that enables our children to become proficient in reading, writing, and math. Our commitment is to provide the skills necessary for them to become self-assured, successful, life-long learners.

Latest News

Two Fort Smith Public School Teachers have been named winners of the Parsons-Burnett Memorial Grant from the Arkansas Retired Teachers Association. Virginia Lopez, Ballman Elementary School, and Josh Adams, Southside High School, were two of the three educators awarded the $1,500 continuing education grant by ARTA.

 

Every year, Ballman Elementary School recognizes students who have had not only perfect attendance, but who have zero tardies and zero early check-outs, as well. These students have literally been present for every minute of every school day for the entire school year.
 

Ballman Elementary School is fortunate to have a core group of volunteers who are committed to helping our teachers and students succeed.
