Habit Luncheons
Beard Elementary reaches out to the Chamber of Commerce and leaders of the community to teach them about the Seven Habits through luncheons that are presented by the students of our school. Each student eats lunch with community and school leaders to discuss how the Leader in Me program helps our school and explain the seven habits. After the luncheon, students present the habits to the assembled adults with a conclusion of songs and skits. The leaders of the community have responded with enthusiasm and support.
