Fast Facts

  • Bonneville Elementary was built in 1962.  It was named after General Benjamin Louis Eulalie de Bonneville.  He was a prominent figure in the history of Fort Smith and the frontier west of the Mississippi River.  Bonneville is centrally located in Fort Smith, Arkansas
  • Bonneville Elementary became a Title I school in 2001.
  • We currently have 15 classroom teachers, 2 Interventionists, 1 counselor, 1 resource teacher and 1 administrator.  Specialty area teachers work with our students in Physical Education, Music, Media, and Art on a weekly basis.
