Welcome to Carnall Elementary School!

Carnall is a small neighborhood school, commonly referred to as the best kept secret in Fort Smith. Recently updated in 2011, Carnall looks like a modern elementary school. As soon as you open the front door, you'll enter a community of learners that are committed to the success of our students.
The mission of Carnall Elementary is to guide the whole child as they strive to recognize and develop their full potential. This quality school includes a high degree of involvement from parents, staff and community members. The award winning PTA is small in number but large in their contributions of time and resources to meet the needs of our diverse population. Our staff is committed to launching students that are productive, knowledgeable members of society into the twenty-first century.  This includes professional development and application of current curriculum integrated with 1:1 digital citizenship, critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity. Partners in Education enrich the lives of our students by supporting us in academic, behavioral and social interactions and traditions. Our volunteers further enhance our daily lives by reading, mentoring, and assisting in the classrooms.
The best learning occurs when parents, staff, and community members are in pursuit of a common goal. It is a quest that is based on love, one that is filled with authentic, joyful, challenging, and impactful experiences. Carnall is that place; our school is a place of respect and wonder.
