Greetings from the Principal:
On behalf of the Euper Lane faculty and staff, welcome to the 2016-2017 school year! My name is Melissa Braddy. I am very excited and proud to be the new principal of Euper Lane Elementary. We are looking forward to serving our school community and continuing a tradition of excellence as we begin Euper Lane’s thirtieth year.
Continuing the rich heritage of Echols Elementary, Euper Lane opened in 1986 and quickly established a reputation for excellence in education. Over the years everyone in the community has worked closely together to provide a warm and friendly learning environment for children. As Euper Lane’s fifth principal, I am proud to continue this tradition. A common thread throughout our school is the strong teaching staff and support personnel. We are fortunate to have a group of dedicated teachers who work collaboratively to provide each student with an outstanding quality, diverse, innovative, and relevant education. Our goal is to encourage a school community and culture that inspires every child to utilize their full potential.
One of the most outstanding aspects of our school is how our parents and teachers work together for the success of our students. Euper Lane’s students profit greatly from the involvement of parents through our many PTA committees. If you have not already volunteered to assist with some of these PTA activities, I encourage you to do so.
We look forward to working with you this year to provide another fruitful year for our students. Our staff is ready and eager to work closely with you as partners in your child’s growth and development. You are welcome any time, and we would love to have you drop by for a visit and/or tour.

Euper Lane Elementary Earns "A" From Arkansas Department of Education
Because of Act 696 of 2013 schools are given a letter grade. The annual report card grades are issued by the state Department of Education. The letter grade is based on numerous factors such as student performance on statewide math and literacy tests, progress toward yearly performance goals, and the size of your achievement gaps. The scores are based on 300 points. Euper Lane received all 300 points! Only 15% of the schools in the state received an A. We are proud of the teachers and the students of Euper Lane. To see the full details of our achievement, go to the Arkansas Department of Education website.
