One hundred days of school have already come and gone this year. On January 25, the students and staff at Euper Lane Elementary School celebrated the occasion with a day full of fun activities.
Throughout the day, teachers hosted drawings to give away themed prizes, including 100 Grand candy bars. Contests, such as guessing the jar with 100 jelly beans, were also held. Students were encouraged to bring 100 pennies to school on that day to use for some of the various games. At the end of the day, many donated their leftover coins to Habitat for Humanity.
The students were also treated to a big surprise by the staff who came to school dressed as if they were 100 years old. Many sported gray wigs, house slippers and even canes as part of their costumes.
