Leigh Ann Hasley, an English/Journalism teacher at Northside High School, was recognized as a Mrs. Baird's "Teacher on the Rise" for the month of April.
After the Northside High School store received its 2013 Gold Level Certification from the School-Based Enterprise program in February, the Northside DECA team was invited to compete at the DECA International Career Development Conference.
The Northside High School JROTC recently received the "Honor Unit with Distinction" at its unit inspection that occurs every three years.
Northside High School sophomore, Jennifer Vicencio, was selected as a delegate to represent the University of Arkansas and College Project Talent Search at the National Student Leadership Congress being held June 8-13 of this year in Washington D.C.
