Ginni McDonald, Principal Northside High School, is officially Dr. McDonald after completing the requirements for her Doctorate in Educational Leadership.

Leigh Ann Hasley, an English/Journalism teacher at Northside High School, was recognized as a Mrs. Baird's "Teacher on the Rise" for the month of April.
After the Northside High School store received its 2013 Gold Level Certification from the School-Based Enterprise program in February, the Northside DECA team was invited to compete at the DECA International Career Development Conference.
The Northside High School JROTC recently received the "Honor Unit with Distinction" at its unit inspection that occurs every three years.
