Arkansas has developed the Refrigerator Curriculum, a resource for parents of students grade K-8. Parents may wish to print the appropriate grade-level learning expectations and place in a convenient spot in their home. In this way, they can easily refer to and practice the skills their child will be studying thoughout the year.
The Refrigerator Curriculum for grades K-8 contains grade-specific concepts and skills that parents can use to prepare their child and support instruction in the classroom. The grade-level list are aligned to the Common Core State Standards and Arkansas Curriculum Frameworks. The Refrigerator Curriculum is a sample and does not include everything that will be taught throughout the school year.
