Thanks to our A+ programs, it is so much fun to learn regular subjects. We learn them in eight different ways. We use word, picture, music, body, nature, people, and self smarts to learn that’s why I like Cook Elementary. - Katie

bspicerGreetings from Cook Elementary School!
I extend greetings from the students, staff and parents at Cook School. Cook is an open-space building where we encourage collaboration, cooperation, and the teaming of teachers to create many opportunities for our children to learn. Cook has been named as an Arkansas School of Excellence and staff members have received numerous awards and recognitions for teaching economics and energy education. They have also earned individual honors for excellence in teaching.

Cook School is a charter A+ school and is part of the Arkansas A+ Network. A+ Schools provide an integration of the Arts into all areas of instruction based on Gardner's Theory of multiple intelligences. Our children have many opportunities to experience a wide-variety of activities in the fine arts and to see the connections with all learning and subjects. We are proud of our students and their performance in the Arkansas ACTAAP comprehensive testing program. We will continue to Create Outstanding Opportunities for Kids at Cook as we foster a community of learners who are prepared for success now and in the future.

Cook PTA is a very active local unit of the Arkansas PTA and extends an invitation to all parents and supporters to become involved as they work to provide for child welfare, parent education, and collaboration with staff. This partnership of parents and staff continues to strengthen the home-school connection and maintain open lines of communication.
