The Darby Band program is made up of 212 7th -9th grade students. The band gives students an opportunity to learn a new skill and meet new people. The Advanced Band (grades 8-9) performs at football games, contests, concerts, and individual events like All-Region Band and Solo and Ensemble. The beginning band (7-8) performs a concert in the spring. Being in band gives students an opportunity to cultivate a talent and friendships that will last forever. |

Band News!!!
The Darby Band received a SUPERIOR rating at the Region II Marching Contest. This is the 16th consecutive year that the Darby Band has received a 1st division rating. Great job Band!!!
The following students were selected for the Region II All-Region Band: Lina Bui, Brian Nguyen, Brianda Yager, Lucero Parga, and Jeremy Moran. Kris Svengard, Jamlyn Christian, Carlos Garcia, and Erica Thavonekham were selected as alternates. Congratulations to these students and all of the students that tried out for All- Region. |
