Mr. Chris Rink joins the Darby Junior High faculty after three years as principal at Hector High School.  During that time, Mr. Rink was principal for grades 7 - 12.  Prior to taking a leadership role at Hector, Mr. Rink was an instructor and assistant principal at Johnson County Westside.  He has earned a Bachelor’s Degree, a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration, and an Educational Specialist in Educational Leadership from Arkansas Tech University.

Text Box: Mrs. Kelley is beginning her fourth year at Darby Junior High School as an assistant principal.  Prior to coming to Darby, Mrs. Kelley served as an ESL teacher and department head at Kimmons Junior High School.  She was at Kimmons for six years.  Mrs. Kelley recently finished her Master’s Degree in Education Administration and Leadership from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville.

Text Box: Dr. Darren McKinney is in his sixth year as assistant principal.  Dr. McKinney joined Darby from Kimmons Junior High School where he was the 7th grade boys coach for seven years.  Dr. McKinney also taught Earth and Physical Science at Kimmons where he served as department chair. Dr. McKinney received his B.A. in Chemistry from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville as well as his Master’s Degree in Education.  Dr. McKinney continued his education by obtaining an Ed.S in Educational Administration. He finished his Doctorate degree  in Educational Administration in the summer of 2007.  All degrees are from the University of Arkansas.
