Orr Elementary was the 2005-2006 School Patrol Unit of the Year!

ORR SCHOLARS was initiated in 1999 in conjunction with our Partner in Education, Southern Steel and Wire. It is a program to recognize and reward our students whose attendance, achievement, and behavior meet established criteria.

Our outstanding and committed faculty has achieved the following grant awards.

AUGUST 2006 –
Team Members – Laurie Baldridge, Kathy Haaser, Batty Hale, Jennifer Ralph, Jackie Sanders
FSPS 2006-07 Handheld Computer Initiatives – a grant that purchased handheld computers, wireless keyboards, LCD projectors, teacher laptop computer, document cameras, Interwrite Class Pack, and software for 4th, 5th, and 6th grade teachers and students.

NOVEMBER 2006-
