In science I learned how to identify the difference between fossils and ordinary rock. This will help me if I become a paleontologist

Greetings from the Principal:
Albert Pike Elementary School is a great place for children to attend school! We have a diversity of cultures, ethnicities, and incomes all under one umbrella. We are all members of the Fort Smith community, the state of Arkansas, and the United States of America. Our motto is, “Unity, Pike Panthers.” It is with this idea in mind that the students at Albert Pike Elementary School are becoming the citizens of our future.

Our teachers strive to provide their students with innovative instructional activities that they have developed through their experience in the classroom and professional development opportunities that are based on sound educational research. Members of our Partners in Education work with the teachers to provide support with tutoring, materials, manpower and motivation.

The parents of the students at Pike are an integral part of the educational process. Along with the teachers, they encourage the students, help them with their studies and motivate them to be the best possible person they can be. One of our goals over the last several years has been to develop and strengthen the relationship between home and school.

This combination of people involved at Albert Pike Elementary ensures that our school is striving to become a true educational community where the needs of the students are always in the forefront.

The Albert Pike Panther reminds us to, “Take the ‘t’ out of can’t and say, I CAN!”

Bryce Dalke, Principal
