I love being a Spradling Eagle!!! (Cue music in the background... “I believe I can fly”…. just kidding.) I mean Spradling Elementary ROCKS!!! It is the best of the 19 Fort Smith Public Elementary Schools.
     I like the teachers. In the third grade I had Ms. Simpkins, and she is so sweet. I love Ms Ward and I got her twice, for fourth and fifth grade. She is so cool and I love her pedicures. I love the way she dresses and just her. Now I have Mr. Mullens. It is a totally new experience since I have never had a male teacher, but he is very nice and funny. I am certain we will have a wonderful year. Mrs. Moore, my GATE teacher is just so nice also. She teaches us such interesting things and languages. I also like Mr. Jones, our new music teacher. I thought no one would be as cool as Mrs. Sikes, but he is.
I love Mrs. Echols, and the library since I love to read. I love art and Mrs. Stout.
     Another thing that makes Spradling so awesome is how the cultures are mixed. I don’t feel left out because I am Hispanic, because I am surrounded by other cultures!
     Finally, what really makes Spradling great is that all these sweet teachers who just want us to succeed in life have great hearts and wish us well.
     A caring staff makes this school the best!!!

Why is this school so special? What makes it the best school anywhere? It’s because of the teachers and students. How you ask? Well let me tell you! All the spirit and encouragement brings smiles and makes everyone work harder, knowing that the teachers will always be there for you no matter what. And the way they help you and teach you, it just makes you all warm inside. Like drinking hot cocoa on a blistering day. Because of the love and care the teachers give us. I think that Spradling School is the best and I love it! Also, what’s a good school without terrific cooks to cook and fuel us up for the day?
