Student Services The Student Services Department assists students and parents in the areas of enrollment, attendance, student records, discipline issues, social work, after school care, nursing, safety/security, and transportation. In addition to these areas the Student Services Department also oversees the alternative education programs for the District. The Department is very involved in crisis response and planning. The Department acts as a liaison between the District and various community service agencies such as Sebastian County Juvenile Justice, the American Red Cross, the Fort Smith Police Department, and Comprehensive Juvenile Services. The Student Services Department exists to serve the families of our District in non-curricular areas.
