Crisis Plan
FIRE
- Call 911.
- Exit the building via the nearest fire evacuation route.
- Assemble in the main parking lot no closer than 75 yards from building.
- Account for all personnel.
- Remain outside untill instructed to return to your building.
SEVERE WEATHER and TORNADO WARNING
- Go immediately to your designated shelter area in your building.
- Account for all individuals.
- Remain in your shelter area untill the all clear signal is given.
HAZARDOUS MATERIALS
- Follow all instructions given by emergency personnel.
- If you are requested to "shelter-in-place," close and lock all exterior doors and windows.
Close vents and interior doors. - Move all personnel to the designated shelter area in your building.
- Seal the room as tightly as possible.
- Await further instructions.
MEDICAL EMERGENCY
- Address the immediate needs of the individual.
- Call 911.
- Call the switchboard and inform operator of the situation.
- Post a person outside your building to help guide emergency personnel to the correct location.
INTRUDER or VIOLENT PERSON
- Call 911.
- Notify the switchboard that there is a violent intruder in your building and ask the operator to signal for a lock down of all buildings.
- Lock all outside doors and all doors into individual offices.
- Stay in "lock down" until the all clear signal is announced or until the police evacuate the building.
