Welcome to Sutton Elementary School!

At Sutton Elementary, every child can be a leader. We encourage each student to grow and develop to be their very best individual self.  By focusing on developing the whole child, students can set goals and work toward reaching them.  We value the partnership between parents, community members, and partners. Thank you for contributing to the success of all Sutton students.

Fort Smith Public Schools Foundation awarded grants to many Fort Smith Educators in the Spring of 2016 for the 2016-2017 school year. Of these award recipients, Mrs. Debbie Boutin and our Kindergarten Team received grants for the school year. We are very proud of all of our teachers.

Mrs. Boutin wrote her grant to benefit our 5th and 6th graders with literacy publications to supplement our current literacy program.  Our Kindergarten Team wrote a grant to provide packets to Kindergarten parents to help them support their children as they begin their educational journey. Kindergarten teachers will make home visits in the fall to all of our Kindergarten families. They will also host Reading Hours during the school year for parents and students to read together.
