Each student had the opportunity to visit with Mr. Claus and inform him of his/her Christmas wishes. Every student at Tilles Elementary received a gift from Santa with a little help from the generous Partners in Education.

On Friday, December 16th, Tilles hosted our 2011 school-wide spelling bee. Representatives from each class competed to win a spot in the district spelling bee. Our first place winner was a fifth grader! Congrats!

Math Night is a fun event for students and their families at Tilles Elementary School. It encourages kids to show off their math skills and provides information about the math program at our school. This year we focused on activities using a Hundreds Board. These activities will enhance students’ skills in adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing. A shout out to Arvest Bank for partnering to help kiddos learn about bank accounts! Math is “sum” thing special!

Tilles Elementary School

Greetings from the Principal:
Focused on working and learning, Tilles students are driven to achieve at their highest potential.  It is our belief that children are most successful when they are equipped with the strategies and tools they need to support their learning objectives.  We are focused on creating life-long learners who are proficient in all curriculum areas.

Being able to work and learn in a positive and supportive environment helps everyone enjoy being here and succeeding in their academic education.

Working as a team--student, teacher, and parent--our students are surrounded by individuals who realize the importance their education will have on their future.  By pulling together, our students are continually making strong academic gains.

Terresa Dewey , Principal
