Students are considered tardy at 8:05 a.m.

School dismisses at 3:00 p.m.

Breakfast begins promptly at 7:30 a.m. and ends promptly at 7:55 a.m.
Breakfast is free for all students.

Lunch is served at the following times:
Lunch Period 1 - 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Grades 2 and 3 

Lunch Period 2 - 11:35 a.m. - 12:35 p.m.
Grades 6, Pre-K, and McCabe

Lunch Period 3 - 12:05 p.m. - 1:05 p.m.
Grades Kindergarten and 1

Lunch Period 4 - 12:40 p.m.-1:40
Grades 4 and 5

Lunch is $2.25 per day for students, $3.50 for adults, and $3.75 for guests.

Wake Up Woods is every Friday morning in the cafeteria- parents are welcome and encouraged to attend.

PTA Meeting Minutes

February, 2015 Meeting Minutes
PTA February 12, 2015       

The Woods Elementary PTA meeting was held Thursday, February
12th at 2:07 in the cafeteria.  President Darcy Wollscheid called the meeting to order and Morgan York led the Pledge of Allegiance.  Davina Roper presented the January
minutes and they were approved as printed. Katie Smith discussed the Treasurer report.  We currently have $23,757.99.                   

Committees:  
Box tops:  We recently received $1,684.
Homeroom Coordinator: Valentine Parties are tomorrow at 2:00.
Founder’s Day: Invitations have been mailed.
Fundraiser: Chocolate bars have been distributed and it is going well.
Spirit Nights:  Chuck E. Cheese is Thursday night.  Woods will get %15 of everything sold at the counter.  Larry’s Pizza spirit night is Feb. 26th.    
Skate Night:  We made $148.00
Nacho Night:  Book fair and parent/teacher conferences will be the same night.  PTA will provide nachos for teachers.
Carnival: Three inflatables have been reserved for $750.  National Honor Society, Chaffin cheerleaders and drill team will help.  Student Council will be in charge of the duck pond.  We are still working on getting a rock wall and sponsors. 
6th Grade Party: Still deciding on a date.
Field Day: It will be May 22nd.  We decided that PTA will provide lunch that
day by grilling hot dogs.  
Hospitality:  A $5 Sonic card was given to teachers.
Playground:  It has been delivered to the Fort Smith Service Center.  We are just waiting for it to be delivered to the school.

New Business:
Talent Show is May 22nd
