Students are considered tardy at 8:05 a.m.

School dismisses at 3:00 p.m.

Breakfast begins promptly at 7:30 a.m. and ends promptly at 7:55 a.m.
Breakfast is free for all students.

Lunch is served at the following times:
Lunch Period 1 - 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Grades 2 and 3 

Lunch Period 2 - 11:35 a.m. - 12:35 p.m.
Grades 6, Pre-K, and McCabe

Lunch Period 3 - 12:05 p.m. - 1:05 p.m.
Grades Kindergarten and 1

Lunch Period 4 - 12:40 p.m.-1:40
Grades 4 and 5

Lunch is $2.25 per day for students, $3.50 for adults, and $3.75 for guests.

Wake Up Woods is every Friday morning in the cafeteria- parents are welcome and encouraged to attend.

April 2016 PTA Meeting Minutes

PTA April 7, 2016

The Woods Elementary PTA meeting was held Thursday, April 7 at 2:00 in the cafeteria.  President Corrine Adams called the meeting to order and Penney Davis led the Pledge of
Allegiance.  Kelly Jacimore presented the March minutes and they were approved as printed.  Quyen Scott went over the budget. 

Fundraiser- 2 pizza parties will be given - April 22 and 29 for the top sales of candy
bars. School rule states that no report cards will be given until all individual sales have been paid to PTA. PTA needs to contact families to collect unpaid amounts.

New Date!

Friday, May 6th from 6:00-8:00.  Set up will be at 5:30.  Volunteers are being recruited from
Northside, Southside and Chaffin.  A homeroom parent meeting will be April 14th at 2:00 in the cafeteria to discuss how to fill game time slots for each classroom.  PTA is in need of donation items from local businesses to go towards the raffle and also in need of local businesses to sponsor games by giving a monetary donation- their business name will be advertised.  
Carnival food possibilities will be: BBQ, pizza, cookie cake and popcorn.

6th Grade Party and Dinner
Both are being organized for May 17th with the help of Darcy, Janelle, Corrine and
Georgia.  A request has been given for only two dinner guests per student.

Earth Day
T-shirts are ordered- Corrine Adams

Field Day
May 22nd – Janelle Farris

and lunch ladies will be recognized the week of April 11th-15th- Jennifer Atchley

New Business:
1.) No PTA meeting in May
2.) New PTA Board will be elected May 12th
