The Department of Student Achievement and Accountability supports the Fort Smith Public Schools mission statement. We strive to ensure that ALL students have an equitable opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach proficiency by challenging academic standards.
The Year-at-a-Glance documents, which identify the District Essential Standards for literacy, math, and science for each grade level are linked below. Within the Year-at-a-Glance documents, teachers can find links to evidence of unpacking essential standards as well as Unit Plans. These documents were created through a collaborative effort with district stakeholders (teachers, instructional specialists, administrators, and curriculum content consultants). They are reviewed and updated each year through a feedback process.
