FSPS Provides Updates to FSPS Board of Education Appointment of Zone IV Position and May Election
Fort Smith Public Schools (FSPS) invites applicants for the FSPS Board of Education Zone IV position to pick up an application packet and ensure Zone IV is correctly designated on the form. Before applying, please verify that you reside in Zone IV. This position will be included in the May election, and the appointed individual must file and run for the seat even after their appointment.
In addition, candidates for the At-Large Positions for Position VI, currently held by Matt Blaylock, and Position VII, currently held by Davin Chitwood, for the May election will need to declare the position that they are running for by filling out the position box in the board candidate package. The filing period opens on February 24, 2025, and closes on March 3, 2025, at noon. Fort Smith Public School will continue to support its FSPS Board of Education and its impact on the District, and it looks forward to the appointment of Zone IV and the May election.
