Meet the CIA Leadership Team
Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction
Dr. Bone serves as the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction in Fort Smith Public Schools. Dr. Bone joined the FSPS Education Team July 1, 2021. Prior to that she served in similar roles in both the Jacksonville North Pulaski County School District in Jacksonville, Arkansas and Pine Bluff Schools. She was also a principal in Bryant Public Schools for 8 years. While she was completing her doctorate, she worked as a visiting professor and principal coach at Arkansas Tech University. She has both wide ranging and specific experience in curriculum development, educational administration, professional development including the professional learning community processes, data analysis, career and technical education, and strategic planning.
