Pathways to Arkansas Teacher Licensure
In Arkansas, obtaining a teaching license is a straightforward process with multiple pathways for aspiring educators. Below is an overview of how you can get started:
Traditional Licensure
- Earn a degree in education from an accredited university.
- Complete student teaching as part of your program.
- Pass the required Praxis exams.
- Apply for licensure through the Arkansas Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
Alternative Licensure
