FSPS Hosts Student Success Planning Information Sessions

Fort Smith Public Schools will be hosting Student Success Plan Parent Nights from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, November 29 in the high school cafeterias. Student Success Plans represent the first steps in a four-year journey toward graduation and are designed to focus on high school course selection so that each student completes high school with a skill set and a plan for their future. 

Parents of 8th Grade students who will attend Northside High School are invited to join teachers, counselors, and school administrators to learn more about Student Success Planning from 6 to 6:30 p.m. in the Grizzly Den. 

Parents of 8th Grade students who will attend Southside High School are invited to join teachers, counselors, and school administrators to learn more about Student Success Planning from 6 to 6:30 p.m. in the SHS Commons. 

Parents of students in Grades 9-11 are invited to this orientation session from 7 to 7:30 p.m. also at their respective schools. 

The District will also host “Help Nights” in the high school cafeteria from 6 to 8 p.m. on December 6, 2021. The portal to register for classes during the 2022-2023 school year closes on December 10, 2021.
