Beginning June 8, FSPS Offices will return to regular summer office hours, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday until July 6. The district will resume Monday-Friday services for the public at that time.
All employees who are on contract at this time will report to their traditional work locations so that the district may resume full onsite services for employees and patrons. While physical distancing continues to be a necessity, FSPS leaders believe that school and service center teams can use precautions they have learned over the last few months to ensure appropriate self protection and protection for colleagues at this time.
Following CDC guidance, employees will be encouraged to wear face masks to and from their work stations and they will be required to self screen for a body temperature higher than 100.4 degrees and other Covid symptoms prior to their arrival each day. Thermometers and sanitizer will be available in each building.
Following these unprecedented circumstances, FSPS will continue to monitor and assess and fine-tune processes so that all employees can feel as secure as possible in their work environments. These decisions will be reassessed periodically to provide the best guidance and also maintain maximum flexibility appropriate for the current circumstances.
FSPS has created Project #FSPSCLEANTEAM as a way to help FSPS employees remember to do their part to keep their workspace and buildings safe and clean.
