Adult Education Director Named for 2023-24 School Year
Fort Smith Public Schools proudly announces the hiring of Matthew Hominick as the new Director of its Adult Education Center. Currently, Mr. Hominick serves as the FSPS Director of the Belle Point Alternative Center (BPAC).
Before serving as the BPAC director, Hominick taught English at Southside High School and Belle Point. Before joining FSPS, he taught in the Hartford and Pine Bluff school districts after serving in the United States Marine Corps.
Superintendent Terry Morawski said, “We are extremely grateful to Mr. Hominick’s service to our country, community, and public school district. His incredible leadership and passion for our students will make a difference in our Adult Education program. We look forward to seeing the great things Matthew will contribute to this program and our organization.”
Mr. Hominick holds an M.S.E. in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University and a B.A. in English from the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith.
